Lauren and Deandra
In my previous blog I posted about what went on at the shoot. Here I will publish some of my favorite shots and just talk about them a bit. You will also notice that the following photographs are in high-resolution. Moving forward, I will do the same to all future shoots. Click on the image. The image will be re-sized to fit your screen. Click on "Maximize" at the bottom for the high resolution version. If your monitor is already at high resolution, you may not see the maximize button.
Makeup Artist - Cleo J
I would like to thank Cleo J for coming to my shoot and for doing Lauren's makeup. Cleo did a fantastic job and I would highly recommend her to any photographer. She is very professional, punctual, and well...just plain cool.Click here to visit Cleo's Facebook site.
Lauren
I wanted clean shots for Lauren. I suppose it's the fact that I kept thinking "14 yr old" lol. Anyways, simple and clean.I noticed the black line to the right. Darn! I did not realized that I accidentally increased my shutter speed. Oh well.
Another shot. Yes, I know. Darn that flash sync shutter speed.
I liked Lauren's pose here. Simple, cute, and well...cool looking. Great use of legs.
Simple and cute. Did I mention the fact that I love scarfs? Nice pose. Poor Lauren. She was on constant lookout for alligators and scorpions lol. Always a small risk while shooting in the Everglades :)
Deandra
Ok! I was given a last minute model. Lauren's sister, Deandra. Thanks to Cleo J (makeup artist who suggested shooting Elena and Deandra). I decided to play and go with "drama" I guess you can say? Lets play.Deandra put on this brown looking thing which I thought was neat so I looked for something that would help compliment that. Twigs! lol In this shot I asked her to interact with the tree. She did an amazing job! I love the pose and facial expression here.
Another shot of Deandra. Again, I love her pose and her facial expression. Deandra surprised me a bit. I did not expect her to be as good of a model like her sister. Good work Deandra!
