Playing with Grain
I am always picky about quality. I always like shooting at ISO 100 to make sure I get crisp and clear photographs. Tonight I was playing with grain and wondering about whether or not it's something I should completely avoid. Here is one such photo I played with. It's from my Truffle Beach shoot.

Not bad eh? Pretty neat. I think I am going to be experimenting with grain and consider shooting at higher ISO. Shots don't always have to be in perfect focus or with as little grain as possible.
A photographer once told me, "Know the basic rules first, then begin breaking them". I think I get it :)
Note about this photo: Originally one of the shots that "did not make it to the final cut", but after experimenting with grain, it gave it a new life. I also think this shot worked out well because I turned it to black and white. Why? It seems to work well with the shadows.
